My name is Melissa, and I am the proud owner of this business. I definitely cannot do this work all alone, though! I am happily married, and my husband is very involved behind the scenes but will also make an appearance at pop-up events!

We have two dogs, Rosie & Penny, who absolutely have our hearts. They are our babies until we are able to expand our family with a little bundle of joy.

Colibri is Spanish for Hummingbird and the meaning behind our name is very near and dear to my heart. They remind me of my mama and my aunt, who embody strength, perseverance, love and gratitude. I worked hard to be intentional about this business and want all of our customers to feel that it’s more than just jewelry- it’s an experience and an opportunity to connect.

I am Bilingual in English and Spanish and am also learning American Sign Language. I want to make sure that everyone feels welcomed, valued, heard and loved when they come see me. As a former educator, I pride myself in inclusion, and cannot wait to further connect with you!
